Visited the Leicester Square store before watching Rogue One tonight, was very tempted to buy the Y-Wing, double points may tempt me even more

By in United Kingdom,

I don't understand why the Phantom is £39.99. I get all the Disney/Star Wars licensing issues, but even then it is a small ship and Yoda's ship has almost as many pieces. I was looking forward to Thrawn, but at that price he can expand his universe as much as he likes and keep it.

By in United States,

Are these coming to the USA? Seriously, we need cheering up over here.

Saw Rogue One just now - and I think it was better than Episode VII! Obviously not quite as good as IV and V but up there. Don't worry, you won't get any spoilers from me. Quite tempted to get the Y Wing now for the characters alone, despite the almost incomprehensible price. Good thing I have some VIP points to spend!

By in France,

Devil is at work again... how can we resist the dark side of the force?
Still i've logged on to my french account and the offer is not yet available. Probably later during the day.

By in Australia,

I saw rogue one yesterday and really enjoyed it, and I also prefer it to episode 7. Fortunately for my wallet I can't get these sets yet in Australia. Hadn't checked the alternate images before so it's a relief to see that Thrawn's minifigure will have red eyes. Not happy about some of these prices though, especially the phantom :/

@Jackthenipper wins the internet with best comment :-)
I'll have to see if I can visit a real store because I won't be around for deliveries.

I saw on the news a few days ago that lego were putting all their prices up by 5%, starting January 1st, due to the slump in the £.

By in United Kingdom,

£40 for the new phantom?!

By in United Kingdom,

That's a nice surprise. Didn't think these would be available till after Christmas. Had not idea how to best spend multiple £25s on old star wars items to get a couple of B wing pilots.

Couldn't resist and ordered a Phantom to get Thrawn. A £5 off voucher code (from the back of the latest catalogue), £5 from VIP points, free shipping, double VIP points and a free A-Wing pilot made the ridulous £39.99 easier to stomach, but not much :-D

...no free gingerbread man though - where's he gone?!

By in United Kingdom,

Yes, he didn't last long.

By in Puerto Rico,

So glad this is not in the US market as I am dry.

By in Germany,

Has anyone ever managed to pay with PP? I always, always get an error.

Good deal to be had if you buy today or tomorrow. One of the major cashback sites (the one starting with a Q....) is offering 11% cashback. So with double points, this is an awesome opportunity.

Just snapped up some Disney Castles :-)

Damn, I thought my Lego spend for 2016 was complete...might have to pick up the Y wing!

By in United States,

When will the Star Wars sets release in the US?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

A more honest pricing for the very expensive Phantom set, would be
£30 for the Phantom (excluding Thrawn) and £10 for Thrawn (because we know you really really want one).

By in Spain,

:¬0
Is it just me or this new wave of SWsets is "slightly" overpriced...?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

@Mickitat: I payed my last orders with PP (because it's easier than type in IBAN & BIC)
PS: Spain is not my homelocation, only till tomorrow my vacation location...

I'm a bit hard up after panic buying the 10234 Opera House earlier this month when I realised it was no longer for sale on LEGO.com. :-S

By in United States,

Hey Huw, will the A-wing mini-figure be available in the US with purchases of an equivalent of £25?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just got a tweet from the Lego people saying these new sets are not releasing in the US until March wtf.....

A wing Mini not coming to the US. I got one though on bricklink from a 3rd party.

By in United States,

Most likely the Y-wing and battle on scarif will release in January in the US because Lego wants people who just saw Rouge One to buy these set because they loved the movie. The same thing happened last year.

Gutted that i placed an order for power functions a few hours before I knew about the double VIP points & free shipping.
Still, I get my Hellicarrier on the 22nd, so I get double VIP points then on it :)
